The dogs are on the loose! In Spots, players put together their own pack of six dogs. To do this, they have to perform the tricks on display in a clever sequence in order to roll dice and place them on the dogs’ spots. However, this is only allowed if the number of dice matches one of the predetermined spots on a dog. If all of a dog’s spots are filled, it can be sent to play. Treats can help with bad luck. However, if a cube cannot be placed, it must be buried in the garden. However, this increases the risk of unrest, which means that all dice already placed on dogs that have not yet been sent to play are lost.
With a total of 22 different tricks, six of which are in play in each game, every game of Spots plays differently. The fact that the tricks are turned to the inactive side after being performed and are therefore initially unavailable to the others at the table also ensures lots of interaction between the players.
