Europe at the beginning of the 20th century, 6 European great powers are vying for power and influence in the age of imperialism. In the end, however, these great powers are only puppets in a perfidious game. For the fates of the great powers are controlled by international investors. Each player slips into the role of one of these investors; by granting loans, he can gain control over a great power, but this control can also slip away from him again, so that new strategic constellations arise again and again.

Similar to “Antike”, “Imperial” is characterised by simple rules, e.g. in the battle between fleets or armies, and the flow of the game benefits from the choice of moves by means of the roundel.
