Patterns: A Mandala Game is an independent area control game for two players, based on the ingenious mechanics of the exciting duel game Mandala. 54 coloured Mandala stones are distributed on a cloth playing mat. The opponents take turns exchanging stones on the playing field for a stone in their hand. In doing so, they try to occupy – or expand – contiguous coloured areas. The tide can quickly turn if the opponent claims a stone for his mandala.
