The players slip into the roles of four students who are on the trail of smugglers and mysterious incidents on a volcanic island. As in a crime thriller, they have to solve puzzles, follow clues, examine and use objects, and make decisions that affect the course of the adventure. They experience a story together. The course of the game is variable and plays out differently in each group, including through the two different final chapters.
