The Volvo 122S was during its production period (1957 – 1970), with its 667,791 cars produced, the most popular car of the manufacturer Volvo and thus even surpassed its predecessor PV544, also in terms of quality.

Characteristic for the 122S model, which was released in 1958, was the B16 engine, which had a capacity of 1,580 cc and was powered by a twin carburettor system, thus producing 56KW (76 hp).

Then in 1961, the B18 engined version was released with 1778cc and 66KW (90hp). This engine took the vehicle to a maximum speed of 148Km/h.

The high level of quality was also reflected in the robust bodywork and the two-tone paintwork.

The floor model as a kit in scale 1:8, consisting of a total of 892 parts, including 127 metal die-cast parts. The model has a weight of approx. 7.500g, including light and sound function. The bonnet, as well as the doors and the boot can be opened additionally playfully.
