The floor model is a replica of the F-16A Fighting Falcon aircraft. The F-16 Fighting Falcon, manufactured by the American company General Dynamics since the late 1970s, is a true icon of military aviation history. It was originally developed according to the needs of the US Air Force to provide a modern and effective single-seat air superiority day fighter. However, the project has progressively evolved to create an all-weather, multi-role aircraft that has exceptional operational flexibility.

The F-16 features an original design, easily recognisable by its frameless bubble canopy, which ensures excellent visibility for the pilot. The F-16 adopted innovative solutions such as the side-mounted control stick, the “fly-by-wire” control system and advanced avionics to improve flight and combat performance. The “Fighting Falcon” is appreciated by pilots for its excellent manoeuvrability and reliability and is equipped with a 20 mm M61 Vulcan internal cannon. Thanks to its hard points and location, it can employ a variety of offensive weapons as missiles and bombs. The F-16 has been adopted by many air forces around the world and often used with great effectiveness in multiple theatres of operation.
