Due to the huge distances that Australian truckers have to cover, sometimes on the worst roads, their trucks are equipped with a lot of special equipment. An absolute must is the enormous Roo-Bar (from kangaroo) or Cow-Catcher at the front, furthermore windscreen guards, special sand filters, additional tanks, air conditioning and of course all kinds of headlights.
On long distances, it is usually driven as a “road train” with up to 3 trailers and a length of over 31 metres.
Our “Western Star” is equipped with right-hand drive as a special feature.
