The standing model is a replica of a Gefechwagen.
In the USA and Great Britain, a lot of work was done to develop special aircraft that could drop behind enemy lines. Willys MB jeeps helped the infantry by carrying out sniping and other commando duties. Usually manned by a sergeant and a soldier, this vehicle was modified in many ways. It was armed with no less than five machine guns and had additional tanks for 135 litres of fuel.
