The floor model is a replica of the BMW R75 motorbike including sidecar. As early as 1940, a battalion of 3 to 4 companies, each with 52 motorbikes with sidecars and 4 motorbikes without sidecars, was integrated into the motorised infantry and the panzer division. In addition, motorbikes were present in almost all other units of the Wehrmacht, especially in the reconnaissance units and the commando as well as in the engineer and supply units. The BMW R 75, produced in 16,500 units, together with the Zijndapp KS 750, formed the core of motorised units in all the theatres of operations, especially in Africa and in Russia.
