The twin-engined Ca.313 was developed by the Italian aircraft company Caproni in the late 1930s. It was based on the Caproni Ca.310 Libeccio. The Ca.313 was used by the Regia Aeronautica (Italian Air Force) during the Second World War for light bombing, aerial observation and reconnaissance flights. The engines were two 12-cylinder Isotta Fraschini Delta RC 35s, producing 730 hp and capable of accelerating the aircraft up to 430 km/h. The engines were equipped with a twin-cylinder engine. The engines had three-blade metal propellers with adjustable pitch. The Ca.314 version was modified for use as a ground attack aircraft, maritime reconnaissance aircraft, convoy escort and torpedo bomber. The “Caproni” was in service in various areas in the Mediterranean and North Africa. They were also used by the Swedish Air Force and the German Air Force.
