The cat’s tummy was terribly empty, something to eat was needed. Lemon chilli? Why not? Put it in the cat’s face. And out of this bitter and spicy torment, this game by Mietzelein was born.

Sweet & Spicy is a bluff card game for 2-6 players and the child-friendly version of Spicy. Instead of wasabi, you can now play lemon and there is a new card in the game: the super joker. But the game principle remains the same.

Just like in Spicy, the cards are played face down, so you can tell a fib when announcing your card. But it is not simply a matter of bluffing convincingly. You can almost always play a card that is at least half right if you play it skilfully from your hand. You have to think tactically about which card you can get away with: Is it better to play a “pepper 9” with a “chilli 10” or a suit joker than a “pepper 10”? Or do I pass better, because it will certainly be noticeable that I’ve been thinking about it for so long now?

With Sweet & Spicy, there is now also the super joker, which can be any spice and any number. It is therefore always correct and cannot be doubted.

Sweet & Spicy is ecofriendly. This means that it was produced in a factory that uses only renewable energy and is made of biodegradable or recyclable elements. The cards are lovingly decorated with a total of 40 independent illustrations.
