Today is the day you finally start your first day of work at Bettys Pets, the most popular pet shop in town! The shop owner Betty has a very important task for you: Can you arrange the Bettas to create colourful patterns?
Betta is a puzzle game in which Bettas have to be placed on 3×3 shelves. In Betta, each player is assigned a Betta species. All he has to do is arrange the fish in different patterns, for which he receives points depending on the complexity of the pattern. Once all the trays are filled, players receive additional points based on the number of bettas of their colour in each tray.
Players place their Betta cards in such a way that they form patterns and fill the displays with fish of their colour. They score points by placing their Betta cards on an empty display and/or creating one of the game patterns. The game ends when each player has only 2 cards left in their hand or when all the displays are filled with Bettas. The displays are scored and the players receive additional points depending on the number of visible bettas of their colour. The player with the most points wins the game!
Betta has 3 game modes: classic, asymmetric and solo, in which different strategies can be used.
