YOKA NO MORI, Board Game, for 2 Players, from 7 Years

In the land of the rising sun, deep in a forest, the spirits – the Yka – challenge each other to a cheerful competition in their favourite game. Their goal is to capture the Koropokkuru, an old man with great knowledge and enormous wisdom.

Inspired by Shogi – a traditional Japanese game – Yka no mori is on the one hand very accessible, but at the same time inspires with its depth. A special feature of the game is that figures do not drop out of the game when they are hit, but are taken over by the opposing player.

In Yka no mori you get active support from the fabulous Kodama, Kitsune, Tanuki, Oni and Kirin. The two different game boards also offer a wide variety of playing experiences: An exciting short version with 8 wooden pieces and an advanced version with 16 wooden pieces, for the highest strategic challenges.
