El Grande is back! The area control classic and game of the year 1996 gets a fresh coat of paint after almost 30 years.
As part of the grandees, the high nobility, you want to expand your influence in Spain. So you send your brave knights to conquer regions and thus gain more power. By skilfully inserting new action cards, you try to thwart your opponent’s strategies. Influence the king in your favour and spin intrigues to always be one step ahead of the others. After a total of 9 rounds, one of you will become the new ruler of medieval Spain.
