In Citadels, you compete to build the most impressive medieval city in the kingdom. To do this, you use many different characters who interact with each other. Each round, you choose a character face down who has a special ability. When it is your turn, you use this ability, construct various buildings and manage your income. Depending on which character you have chosen, you get bonuses or can, for example, bewitch, steal from or blackmail your fellow players. But be careful: with special buildings they can defend themselves – or dish it out as well. To win, you have to outsmart your fellow players and score as many victory points as possible by constructing buildings.
