This is certainly not the Christmas you imagined. In 1944, while others are sitting in front of the Christmas tree, the Allied and German troops are engaged in fierce firefights in the icy Ardennes.
With “Winter Wars” you get a lot of new game material so that you can recreate the offensive in the Ardennes as accurately as possible. So that your game material is always well organised and doesn’t get lost on the way to the next game night, you get the matching storage box FSLB055 including Feldherr foam inserts. You can store and transport the contents of “Winter Wars” neatly and safely in it.
We have packed 2 foam mats made of soft, fine-pored foam and 4 plastic token holders in the bag so that your game material is neatly organised and not disfigured by scratches and creases.
The insert with 11 compartments is available for your 88 hexiles. The tray is divided into 8 hexagonal compartments and three small compartments in the centre. You can store the hexes and token holders in the hexagonal compartments. Up to 15 hexes or 2 token holders can fit in one compartment.
You can store obstacles such as sandbags and bunkers/bridges in the small, square compartments.
Use the other insert for your playing cards, such as summary cards, command cards and winter combat cards. This has 7 compartments, 3 of which are large card compartments, each with finger-thick cut-outs. These make it easier for you to remove the individual stacks. Of course, the cards also fit into the compartments with protective sleeves.
Distribute the rest of your game material such as tokens, markers, Special Uni badges and dice across the remaining compartments of the two inserts.
Finally, place the supplied foam cover on the inserts. This prevents individual items from falling out of the compartments. The campaign booklet is stored on the foam cover.
The storage box FSLB055 is made of coated, double-walled cardboard. This makes it not only pleasantly light, but also particularly tear-resistant and stable. The practical plastic carrying handle makes it easy to transport the storage box.
As with all 3D-printed models, minor imperfections may occur. The product images are only examples of what the finished product may look like. Colours may vary. All products are supplied unpainted.
