PE foam sheets with grid punching are used everywhere for insulating, isolating, securing and packaging. These foams are used as supports, underlays, bonded elements or partition walls. The foam is robust and durable. This is why polyethylene foam is often used as a durable lining for Euro containers, aluminium boxes and transport crates. We offer different heights and dimensions. This means you can find the foam that best suits your project. The perforated, pre-punched grid of 20 mm x 20 mm x 5 mm allows you to customise the foam insert to your own requirements. PE foam with grid is easy to work with. You don’t need any tools to separate the grid pins. Of course, a sharp knife, e.g. a cutter, makes processing easier.
This foam is self-adhesive on one side. It can therefore be glued to many clean and dry materials. The high adhesive strength allows vertical bonding to most of these materials. Before placing an order, please ask us whether we have any data/experience values for the material to be bonded.
This rigid foam sheet is made of high-quality polyethylene (PE). We offer our foam inserts made of soft foam – polyurethane (PU) – as standard. This is the most common material for miniature modelling and tabletop games. In direct comparison to polyurethane (PU), PE tends to be harder/more robust. For applications with special and/or industrial requirements, we offer rigid PE foam. Another positive feature of polyethylene (PE) is its low water absorption of approximately 1 per cent by volume.
The foam die-cut part measures 550 mm x 345 mm x 5 mm in height. This corresponds to our Feldherr Double Size format. We offer a wide range of foams for Euro containers, bags and storage boxes in this format.
