Dimpled foam is used to transport sensitive objects. Due to its corrugated shape, it is ideal for transporting sensitive products. It adapts to the goods being transported, holds them in place and has a cushioning effect in the event of falls. We recommend using the dimpled foam as protection in the lids of transport crates, as this prevents your goods from hitting the crate lid and being damaged.
The dimpled foam blank CFNP020 fits perfectly into the hinged lid of the Auer Euro container. This lid has a circumferential groove on the inside. They fit the dimpled foam exactly into the inner surface, which is bordered by the groove. When fitted there, it provides full protection without the foam protruding and the lid cannot close flush due to the protrusion. This saves space and looks good.
You can of course also use the dimpled foam with other boxes with an aluminium or similar plastic surface.
