Dimpled foam is particularly suitable for transporting sensitive objects due to its wave shape. It adapts to the transported goods, holds them in place and has a cushioning effect in the event of falls. We recommend using the dimpled foam as protection in the lids of transport crates, as this prevents your goods from hitting the crate lid and being damaged. The size can be easily adapted to your toolboxes, transport boxes and bags.
In addition, dimpled foam is often used to dampen noise. As an insulating material in workshops, this foam reduces noise pollution. In recording studios, it improves the sound quality.
If you want to dampen the noise in a room so that the noise level is more bearable for the people in the room, it is best to use convoluted foam that is 5 cm or thicker. The thicker the foam, the better the insulation.
