About a billion years ago, the primordial soup has just cooled down, the time is ripe for the first life: Amoebae. They are still floundering disoriented in the current of the primordial soup, eating nutrients floating by and occasionally dividing.
By acquiring genes, players can now influence the development of their amoebae. Maybe the gene for more skillful movement to fight against the current? Or the gene for eating competing amoebae? 20 different genes allow countless combinations. The daily struggle for survival extends over many millennia and millions of years – for us players, however, the primeval biology lesson ends after about two hours.
