The Churchill is a British heavy infantry tank from the Second World War. It became one of the best-known vehicles of the Allies during the war. It was modified many times and many specialised vehicles were built on its basis. Churchill proved to be a successful design, appreciated for its strong armour, low silhouette and mobility in difficult terrain.
