The model of the mighty Jagdpanther tank destroyer was developed on a large scale of 1:28 from 950 elements and measures a full 34 cm in length. The size of the model made it possible to model parts of the vehicle’s interior. The model provides access to the service hatch, under which there is a removable engine. Jagdpanzer V “Jagdpanther” is the best German tank destroyer of the Second World War. It was designed on the chassis of the famous Panther tank. This huge vehicle was equipped with an effective and battle-tested 88 mm gun. The destroyer was characterised by very good armour and mobility. Production of the Jagdpanther began in December 1943 and around 392 of these vehicles were produced by the end of the war. Jagdpanthers were used for the first time in Normandy and also fought in the Ardennes and in Germany. They appeared on the Eastern Front in autumn 1944 and fought successfully against Soviet IS-2 tanks! The vehicle is still very popular today and often appears not only in literature, but also in games, films and video material and always arouses interest and emotion!
