The Dassault Alpha Jet is a training aircraft for advanced training and a light attack aircraft. It was developed in Franco-German co-operation and entered service in the 1970s. Single-seat and two-seat versions (pilot and instructor) were produced. The Alpha Jet was used in France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal and Egypt, among other countries. It is still in use in France today.
The clamp-on model was developed under licence from the French military aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation and complements the collection of military aircraft issued in 1:48 scale. The model includes high-quality prints and decals (painting of wings and ailerons). The set includes simplified pilot figures that can be placed in the hinged cockpit. Depending on your preference, the aircraft undercarriage can be easily removed to display it on a stand, for example. The set includes a block stand to be built and a plate with the name of the model.
