The Cromwell Mk.IV is a British medium tank that was used in the Second World War. It entered service in 1944 and was mainly used by the British Armoured Corps. This tank was known for its speed and manoeuvrability, which allowed it to operate effectively on the battlefield. The Cromwell was equipped with a 75 mm main gun and a 600 hp Rolls-Royce Meteor engine. This gave it good firepower as well as mobility and the ability to move quickly over different types of terrain. The Cromwell Mk.IV played a decisive role in the Normandy campaign and in subsequent Allied operations in Western Europe. Tanks of this type were also used by the 1st Polish Armoured Division (the so-called Black Devils) of the Polish armed forces in the west during the Second World War!
