In the Army of the Free People, diverse peoples and personalities have come together under the same banner to fight for their land and the right to rule over themselves. This alliance has made for some uneasy truces, most notably that between Harma, the Dog-Head, and the Lord of Bones (also known as Rattle Shirt). But other heroes have also emerged from a variety of ranks, from the spearwoman Ygritte to Jarl and the Weiner, leaders of raids, to the Magnar of Thenn, king of his people. There is no room for weaklings in the North, and the Free People stand ready to destroy anyone who tries to put them in chains.
