Duck & Cover

Darn: Your squeaky ducks are splashing water all around your bathtub! Find a way to stop them from splashing water everywhere!

In Duck & Cover, a fun and strategic card game, players battle to control the chaos in their bathtub! Each player takes control of a group of squeaky ducks and tries to leave the fewest splashes of water by skilfully moving and covering the cards.

At the start of the game, each player chooses one of seven unique duck families, each consisting of twelve cards. These are laid out in a 4×3 grid in front of the player. The captain of the game draws a card from the draw pile and announces the number drawn. All players must now move the corresponding card from their line-up – either by covering up another card or by placing the card in a free space in the grid.

The game becomes even more varied and challenging with special cards such as the “Max card”, which forces players to use their highest card, or the “Repeat card”, which makes players repeat their last move.

The aim of Duck & Cover is to have the lowest total score at the end of three rounds of the game. Points are scored by the number of visible water splashes on the cards – the fewer splashes visible at the end of a round, the better. The player with the fewest points wins and is crowned the duck champion of the bathtub!
