In New Hong Kong Story the player is an actor in a Hong Kong film. The role that the actor has in the film changes again and again, depending on what scenario the game master or the director specifies. Whether it’s a wuxia movie à la Tiger & amp; Dragon or an action-packed triad film in the style of the Hard Boiled films by John Woo, it is crucial that the actors exploit all the possibilities of the film in each scene. Brilliant action scenes are made possible not least by the fact that a character cannot die. If something happens to a role, the actor is back in front of the camera for the next film.
