Pandemic – on a knife’s edge is an expansion for the popular cooperation game Pandemic.

In it, the players take on the roles of various doctors and experts in order to find a cure for four dangerous diseases together – before the pathogens infect all of humanity.

With seven new roles, new skills and eight new special events “Auf Messers Schneide” expands the basic game with additional possibilities and combinations. In addition, up to five players can now compete against the diseases together. In addition, various challenges can now be added that give the game completely new elements. A fifth, completely unpredictable disease comes into play in the Mutation Challenge, or one player plays against the others in the Bio-Terrorist Challenge. And in the Viral Strand challenge, one disease becomes particularly deadly.

This expansion is compatible with the 2013 edition of Pandemic.
