As members of the State Vocabulary Office, you have been entrusted with a dangerous mission: to penetrate the depths of the linguistic jungle and find the Secret Truth in the Sunken City. An expedition full of adventure, excitement and unexpected discoveries awaits you!

Expedition into the Word Realm is a cooperative game in which you work together as a team on an expedition through any book on your bookshelf.

At the beginning of the game, you place the base camp bookmark anywhere in the book. This is your starting point. A few dozen pages further on, you place the Sunken City bookmark, which is the destination of your expedition.

In each round, one of you, as the navigator, ventures deeper into the realm of the book and associates a short passage of text with one of four beautifully illustrated bookmarks on display.

The group has to guess which illustration was chosen. But there are dangers lurking when reading aloud! And the linguistic landscape holds countless wonders in store.
