“Is the cat in the box alive or dead?”, quantum physicist Erwin Schrödinger already asked himself – and now everyone at the game table is too! How many living cats are there in the round? One after the other, the players make bold claims and outbid each other. Raise a dead cat or doubt the last claim? If you’re right, you’re through – if you’re wrong, you’re out. Whoever can hold their own against all the other players wins the game.

How to play Schrödinger’s Cats MBE3:
– You play several rounds in which your goal is to hold your own against the others and be the last person still in the game.
– In the first round, you each get six hand cards and a physics cat with an individual ability.
– The first person makes a claim about how many cards of a quantum state (alive cat, dead cat or empty box) there are in total among all the cards distributed.
– After that, it’s your turn. On your turn, you have a choice of two actions:
– Either you make a new claim that is higher than the previous one, or you doubt the current claim and thus end the round.
– At the end of the round, you reveal your hand cards and check the current claim. Whoever was right stays in the game. Those who were wrong are eliminated.
– In the next rounds, you play with one person and one fewer hand card until there is only one person left. They win the game.
– You can use the ability of your physics cat once to trick a little.
