As soon as the dwarves hold the gold in their hands, the earth begins to shake. The cave collapses – water seeps through the cracks in the rock. There is only one way out: quickly find the exit! But it slowly dawns on the gold seekers that not everyone in the clan is loyal. Some of the dwarves are working for the opposing clan. So get out quickly and save the gold, otherwise it’s doom and gloom: Easy come, easy go! An exciting, independent variant of the classic card game Saboteur.

How to play Saboteur – The Dark Cave MBE3:
Everyone starts with their dwarf and three gold pieces from the central starting card. All dwarves belong to one of the two clans, but there may be saboteurs in each clan. These work for the other clan. The player whose turn it is plays a path card or an action card: Path cards form the network of paths to the cave exit, while action cards are mainly used to sabotage other players. You can then move your dwarf along existing paths. On the paths, the dwarves can use tunnels and ladders to make faster progress. However, spider webs and various creatures hinder them. When a dwarf reaches the exit, he leaves the cave and saves his gold. At the end, everyone reveals their character by revealing their dwarf cards. The saved gold is collected within a clan to determine the total value. Saboteurs defect to the opposing clan.
The clan with the most valuable treasure wins the game.
