Slip into the role of a brave elf and float between clouds on a dragon or ride across meadows and fields on the back of a unicorn. Slightly slower is the ride on the elf wheel, the troll wagon or the giant pig. But either way, a trip to the land of fantasy is definitely worthwhile. Fairytale-like and beautiful.

How to play Elfenland. There are 20 locations on the game board, which are connected by a network of paths. The paths lead through different types of terrain: Forests, desert, plains, mountains, lakes and rivers. There are specific means of transport that can be used for each type of terrain, seven different ones in total. The unicorn, for example, can be used in the desert or in the mountains, but not in the plains. Each player tries to visit as many different locations as possible in four rounds. Each round, each player first plans their personal itinerary. Various means of transport are then placed on the routes in turn. Each player has a maximum of five means of transport per round. For each means of transport that a player uses on their route from place to place, they must hand in a corresponding travel card. A means of transport may not be used without a matching travel card. Each player has eight travel cards per round. The player who has visited the most locations after the fourth round is the winner.
