What do refurbished and return sales mean?
Refurbished is an English term that can be translated as “refurbished”, “refurbished”, “refurbished” or “restored”.
No matter which word you use, it’s always about giving items a second life – instead of throwing them in the bin. You often read the term “refurbishing”, which refers to the quality-assured repair (reconditioning) of devices for the purpose of reuse. In general, we are seeing that buying refurbished is becoming increasingly popular as more and more people are looking for alternative consumption options that cause less environmental damage.
There is currently no uniform definition of refurbished, so the standards can differ between suppliers and stores.
No used goods
At mangoli you can always assume that items are NOT used, but simply no longer meet our standards for new goods for the following reasons:
- Opened or missing original packaging due to a revocation/return shipment
- Packaging damaged during transportation
- Replaced or restored by the manufacturer
- Signs of use due to opening and inspection on site or at the customer’s premises
If you have any questions about this or about a specific item and its reason for being classified as “Refurbished”, please contact us using our contact form. Please include the item number or the link to the item.
